I bought it as a gift for my daughter who has a liking for good whiskey. We were both most impressed by the presentation.

I will confess to not being an expert or overly familiar with peated whisky. As such I found the taste had a somewhat chemical feel to it. The peat seemed to overpower everything about this whisky. Having said that, it was quite smooth and easy to drink. Horses for courses I guess.
