I really love the book club. It is one of the best places on the internet. I wish I could currently afford the full membership instead of the Bring Your Own Book membership. But the conversations are always great and the playlists are super fun.

I signed up for the book club at the October event in Minneapolis because I wanted the book Nothing is Missing. I LOVED IT! And I am excited to see what the next book is.

Being a JHBC member is more than just getting a book box each month - though I know that's what this review is supposed to be. Positives first :) - the community of book club members is what makes this amazing and I'm thankful I finally joined when I did (Dec 2020 was my first book). Getting little perks within the box is also like a little extra present to myself ... which was why I was a little bummed about this month's extras. I'm sure the e-course is great - I barely have time to make sure I get the reading in to also have find time to complete an e-course from an author I don't know. But I am thankful for the book, the book club, and the curators for the book club (Jen and her team) because this is my monthly me-gift and requisite me-time (since I'm not able to do a me-camp). Looking forward to seeing what the October book is about and will see what info is in the e-course as well.

I love JHBC! Each month a great book & a fun treat come directly to my door. It feeds my book-loving soul and contributes to my ever-growing library! Shipping is efficient and once I didn't get my shipment and the team replaced it for free! Can't recommend them enough.
