Jambalaya Girl is the best gumbo starter I’ve found. Unfortunately Publix stopped carrying it. Luckily I can order it direct from the girl herself and it’s well worth it to stock up. May fav is sausage & shrimp with onions, celery, peppers over perfectly steamed white rice. Oooo-weee, you gonna like it gar-en-teeee it!

My local grocery had not been able to keep the gumbo base stocked for a few months, so I decided to order on line. I don’t like to go without this pantry staple! The best we have found!

Family and I think it’s the best out there. I fix the big party size chicken, sausage, and sometimes shrimp. It takes a little preparation cutting up peppers and onions. but we love it my son takes it to work three times a week and my husband loves it comes home and eats it for lunch . And they eat it for dinner. It’s really really good.

Shipping was super fast!

Product is great, my favorite gumbo base. Shipping was many times delayed from emailed updates and when arrived the shipping box was heavily damaged, taped to hold together, boxes of product inside were crushed, somehow mixed with other order from creole foods company? Fortunately bags of product were ok. Company needs to look into carrier used in the future.
