I was really looking forward to receiving my Margaret nightgown. I had preordered it and then when the delivery time frame came and went I received an email that it was delayed. I still waited patiently because I was eager to try something pretty that would be cooler in temperature for sleeping. When the nightgown arrived it was every bit as pretty as the photos and fit nicely with some room to spare when I tried it on. I am 132 lbs, 5' 4" and purchased a Medium which is my normal size. I always wash clothing before wearing so I washed this in cold water on delicate and dried on low temperature. The nightgown came out very wrinkled which is fine - since it's cotton I knew it would look nice again with a quick ironing. However, the amount of shrinkage was much more than I would have expected. When I tried it on the nightgown was way to tight on top, cutting in uncomfortably at the arm holes. I am NOT Overly large chested. . . just 36C. This is so terribly disaappointing because of the long wait, anticipation, and then the loss of money on an item I can't wear. I'm still giving three stars because it is very pretty.

There is nothing like COTTON! I had a gown like this in 2001 when I was pregnant with my daughter, I think I paid $45 back then. I wore it for years, until it was thread bare, it was so comfortable. I was thrilled to find these 100% cotton gowns in the knee length style. They are comfortable, cool for us hot sleepers and a simple and elegant pajama staple. I cannot say enough great things about this gown. Simply LOVE it! If you are on the fence order it NOW!
