Recipient very happy

I came across iGift when looking to send a delivery for a special birthday when in person plans didn’t work out, iGift had the items I was wanting to send. I purchased my order the night before just after midnight and I paid $42 just in postage so that my gift would arrive on the same day (same day postage was advertised when purchased before midday) as advertised and yet my recipient didn’t receive the gift until the following day which was not on her birthday. I also tried to ‘create my own hamper’ using the links on the website which never offered me a chance to write a message accompanying the gift - therefore no where to write who the gift was from etc, I messaged iGift as soon as I realised early the next morning (well and truely before the midday cut off for delivery) and was told that I had not purchased a card or wrapping (I had clearly purchased wrapping in the hamper as per my receipt and $4 for tissue paper), I then attempted to RE- purchase wrapping paper and add a 50c card so it was at least addressed to and from the present, and was expected to pay another $42! I sent back that I wasn’t wanting to pay $84 in shipping for a present approx $120, I was told to pay it anyway then I would be given a refund. Then I received another message from iGift that they re looked at my order and found the tissue paper wrapping and they would sort the card out- I thanked them for sorting this out. These messages were sent and received well and truely before the cut off for the same day delivery and yet the gift still did not arrive on the same day, When I then attempted to call and message iGift as I did not get what I paid a lot of money for there was repeatedly no answer! There was no communication from iGift when the gift would arrive or when it had arrived only an email from Australia post and confirmation from the recipient that the gift was received the following day. Never have I had such a poor experience when trying to arrange a delivery for gifts and flowe...

We purchased the hamper with fruit, candle and plant for a small housewarming gift for our friend. She was delighted with it and it helped us to be able to give her something whilst we were away. The fruit was lovely and fresh, the candle fragrance she LOVED and the plant a lovely touch. All for an affordable price! we will love to use this service again, but may plan the extra few days for delivery next time for more remote areas.
