I was really excited to
I was really excited to send my aging father some goodies from HGS since they came highly recommended. I placed my order, chose my delivery date, and paid the invoice. No problems at all in the beginning. Then (a week later) and 24 hours prior to my chosen shipping date, I received an email saying they were not able to ship my order the next day and it would go out the following week. Well, so much for the timing of my birthday gift to my dad. The items arrived just fine and are good quality, but a week late with no apology and no compensation offer of any kind. And to add insult to this, they didn't even honor my $25 off coupon that THEY sent me for my first order with them. Very disappointing. I do not recommend this company, nor will I be ordering from them again.

Not Enough Ice in AUGUST!
There was not enough dry ice used to pack my burger patties in the middle of August. One pack was slightly spongy. There was no solid ice left in the box. Also, I left this review through your corporate website and never received a reply.

Terrible Customer Service
My order went unfulfilled for three weeks. I had a difficult time reaching customer service to ascertain why there was a delay in shipping. Order was shipped when I was out of town, package arrived partially defrosted and steak and burgers weren't even labeled Holy Grail, but from a company called Red Top Farms, Never responded to my emails or phone messages. I don't know how a company can stay in business with a customer service that doesn't respond.

Don’t believe I got what I ordered during bogo Been a top CH supporter for almost 20 years Moving on. No more cam x, no more holy grail, stopped denegoce, and the CH acquirer is a joke. Been good but over the years but this seems like the divorce. Holy Cow!

Good Experience
Ordering on line was easy. On my first attempt I made a mistake and it was very easily resolved with no problem. The communication was quick.

Greetings, I just received my
Greetings, I just received my shipment from you of 4 Tajima Wagyu Ribeye steaks, order number 61185. They arrived completely thawed, The external temperatures ranged from 39 to 50 degrees F. The dry ice was completely sublimated. I experienced this same result with my order from Snake River Farms. The thing you both have in common is the use of eco-friendly packaging. Simply put, it doesn't work. All the other online purveyors of steaks that I have tried (I'm doing an evaluation of online steak companies) use styrofoam packaging and have delivered their products in perfect condition with plenty of dry ice to spare. Those companies are; Mr. Steak, Omaha Steaks, Kansas City Steak Co. and Chicago Steak Co. Despite your process of blast freezing the steaks to -30 degrees F, I now have to refreeze the thawed steaks I received using the freezer in my refrigerator. That's probably not the optimum approach and completely negates the care with which you initially prepared the steaks for shipment. I have a suggestion, use styrofoam for shipping and forget the eco-friendly nonsense. Do you really think people who eat steaks give a darn about the methane in cow farts or other virtue signaling actions that fail to do the job such as your shipping method? I look forward to tasting one of your steaks, but I will always wonder if my having to refreeze them diminished the flavor/texture from what could have been. I'm sure you will respond to this in the lawyerly fashion that SRF did, citing your terms and conditions and USDA recommendations. It may satisfy your legal team, but out here in customer land that will be considered a very weak response. The least you could do would be to offer a styrofoam container option if customers wish to bypass writing critical reviews like this one and simply enjoy a good steak. Thank you.

Good Meat, Inconvenient Packaging
The burgers and steaks I ordered are great as always, with most of them going in my freezer for use during the summer. I actually ordered 2 different types of burgers in 2 separate orders only a week or so apart - the first order had ones I'd never tried before, and the second order had my all-time favorites which had just become available again. The burgers in the first order are almost as good as the others, and they were packaged in a "2 pack" - 2 burgers each packaged individually, but attached to each other with a perforated line in the plastic so one can easily access a single (or odd number) of burgers. This is how the Tajima burgers in my second order were always packaged before, so I assumed that would continue - very convenient. Unfortunately, my assumption turned out to be FALSE. The 2-packs of Tajima burgers came stacked 2 burgers together with paper in between and are sealed in a single piece of plastic. The ONLY way to defrost and cook these, then, is to defrost 2 burgers EVERY TIME. Well, I live alone and rarely eat more than one burger at a time, and I HATE leftover hamburgers (the quality of any leftover burger is terrible). This simple change in packaging is making me question whether or not I will continue to order ANY burgers from Holy Grail. Unfortunately, the way they say "2 pack" in the item description is the same regardless of which version of a 2 pack they are talking about. At a minimum, Holy Grail needs to be very clear in their product descriptions about how these burgers are packaged - "2 pack" doesn't cut it. Even better, they should just package each patty separately and let the customer decide EXACTLY how many they want to cook at any one time. Well, the damage is done for this summer. Now I'll just wait and see if anyone pays attention to this matter. If not, I won't be a customer much longer in spite of how much I like their products otherwise.

The steaks are very good
The steaks are very good and arrived when they were supposed to. Only issue was that the box had been opened before it was delivered. (nothing was missing but it was disconcerting to find an opened box on the porch!)
