**Title:** Excellent product, disappointing customer service **Review:** Unfortunately, I cannot properly review the product because I never had the chance to use it. I ordered these sandals during a promotion and received size 42. I requested an exchange for size 41, not a refund. My return was processed, and I received confirmation that my exchange would be shipped. Based on that confirmation, I waited instead of buying safety footwear elsewhere while similar promotions were still available. Several days later, I was informed that my exchange had been cancelled because the item was out of stock, and I was automatically refunded. By that time, I had also missed the opportunity to buy discounted safety footwear from another manufacturer. I understand that stock can run out, but customers should be informed as soon as possible. If I had been notified earlier, I would have made a different purchasing decision. After this happened, I even asked if it would be possible to return my original pair in size 42 instead of simply refunding me, as I would have preferred to keep the product I had originally purchased. Unfortunately, this request was also refused. The company offered me a 30% discount code as a goodwill gesture, but this does not compensate for the opportunity I lost. I was left without the product, without the promotional price, and without the opportunity to purchase an alternative at a similar discount. Overall, I am very disappointed with how Helly Hansen handled my exchange. The product may be excellent, but my experience with their customer service has unfortunately left me with little confidence in buying from them again.
