I bought the brown Viking cloak thinking that it would make a good wind breaker and rain poncho to put on over my new dust coat. But after using it as a scarf when it got down to twenty-two degrees Fahrenheit recently, it has proven to be so much more. I was not wearing gloves or a stocking cap--all I was wearing under my cloak and my dust coat were a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, and on my head I wore only a wool felt outback hat to help keep the rain out of the jacket. I got so sweaty that I had to take the cloak and the dust coat off so that I could dry off and cool back down. I strongly recommend this product to anyone getting ready for winter.
