The Cadre gave the people what they wanted: A bigger challenge. It worked because the Bragg HTBL wasn't an impossible challenge, although it was most definitely the biggest GORUCK challenge I've ever faced; it was the kind that you could finish as long as you didn't give up. That's the very essence of what difficult GORUCK events are: They make you dig deep in your darkest moments, and push you to places mentally and physically that you otherwise don't or won't visit.
