Very disappointed! The claim is that the Darker Daze, Make it Happen, Eggplant color works on dark shades. I am between level 2-4 and this dye (tried twice, giving the brand a real chance and good faith) but it failed. It’s not a pretty color, no purple, looks like a light black/dark grey and not at all what I was expecting or what the brand claims. Not what the images show. Will never use or recommend this product. I will also never trust a Sally’s sales associate’s opinion either! Two big fails.

GDY has been my go to hair dye, I’ve done a lot of their colors and have always loved the out come!

Used Rock Lobster with a few drops of None More Black for a deep cherry red look without a purple undertone. It was perfect, and didn't stain my skin at all! I had issues with that with the blue that I used to use, but this mixture has been amazing! Shipped on time and all of my items were there too.

Smooth checkout process with good sales. Had a slight shipping delay but quick communication about it and it wasn’t pushed back too far. Overall great experience and loved the dyes!!

I bought hairdye the 28th of May. It has been 10 days. Normally, that’s fine. I don’t mind waiting. It’s the tracking of the package that really ticks me off. The tracking site they use(and the good dye site) told me my dye would arrive the 5th. It changed after 8 pm to “arriving tomorrow”. No big deal, frustrating, but okay. Then, the next day, it says the package is to arrive 06/06. Guess what happened? It got delayed. Now, it’s June 7th at 7 pm and I have not gotten any updates on my order. Last tracking update was 06/03. Just order this dye from amazon and it’ll come in a few days.

Great product was using on my 12-year-old. She wanted to split look for her birthday as she’s never used any type of chemicals on her hair. I wanted something that Permanent and your product didn’t harm. Her scalp went very well and we will be using you in the future.

I only tired half of the products I purchased but to only half 2 out of the 4 I used not really work that great is not a good start. I was so excited to try these colors because they all looked so vibrant. I even made sure to lighten my hair befor putting the color in so they could pop. Unfortunately that is not what happen. I am hoping when I try the other colors I got it will be a better experience.

It’s not first time shopping with Good Dye Young and it definitely won’t be my last! Recently I ordered some dye and accidentally received the wrong color and I reached out to the team and instantaneously got back to me about fixing this issue. The team was so supportive and understanding and kind I don’t have enough words to express how they handled this situation. Love love love the brand and will continue to buy/shop!
