I’m being asked to review the replacement visor for my daughter’s helmet, but I haven’t seen it yet. It’s such a shame that things aren’t shipped to Alaska- usps delivers here just like it does to the rest of the United States. I realize there are shipping sop’s, but a little bit of customer service, and a willingness to do more than go through the motions would go a long way. I get shipping isn’t free, which is fine, I’m used to it, but it’d be nice if I didn’t have to ship it across the country to then have it forwarded to me. Maybe when I actually receive the visor I’ll add to my review, but probably not.

On 02/14/2026 - Valentines Day, my 14 yr old son was involved in a terrible snowmobile crash. He was tracking about 40-45mph on a curve and misjudged the curve ending up head-on with a tree. Cracked the helmet right down the center! All of the EMS personnel, said it saved his life. Thank you GMAX!!!

I recently had an after-purchase Parts issue. After contacting several local shops, and looking on the internet & your website, (I spoke to probably 6 people) I contacted Angela because the part I needed was not listed in the GMAX Illustrated Parts breakdown. She went above and beyond, even though she didn't have to, she researched the part I needed and had it out to me the next Day! Nobody else cared enough to do the extra research to find what I needed. I am Extremely grateful to her. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and SUPER Helpful. Thank you So Much!!!

Great quality , great fit , great price

Love my GM54. (Size XXL. ) Fits nicely, flows air well, and I enjoy the extra level of safety it provides through the Bluetooth brake light on the back. Can't praise it enough. However, after five years, it was time to replace it. Along comes the MD01, a direct replacement. Or so I thought. Had to return the XXl. The replacement XXXL was no better. It squeezed my cheeks, resulting in my biting the inside of my mouth. The pressure it exerted on my head caused the point on the base of my skull above my neck, to cause intense pain after just 30 minutes of use. Additionally, the helmet came with a "winter chin curtain. " (I live in the South. ) A summer replacement curtain turned out to be another winter curtain. I was advised by a Gmax representative to trim the foam in the helmet, to get it to fit. Afterwards, I could get no help from GMax. I used the helmet three times. That was enough to cause the cheek pads to begin pilling from the hairs on my beard. The MD-01 has now sat unused in my closet, for over two years. Could it have been a size misapplication of the MD-01? Gmax never offered me a chance to find out.
