I have always been so embarrassed about my skin that I wanted to always wear a foundation which I know that was making it worse. But as I grew older, I finally started using proactive on a regular basis, and I have to admit that I am no longer embarrassed and I don't ever use foundation anymore, because I don't have to.

I have been using Proactiv since I was a teenager and I'm now 47 and unfortunately still have to use Proactiv cause I still battle with acne as an adult and this is the only thing that works for me. ! So far my son is 30 days. It really calmed down the areas he was having breakouts. Excited to see what it looks like with at day 60 (his face isn’t fully clear knew that it wasn’t a magical wand other areas like neck are breaking out now) we shall see

I am prone to get dark spots after breakouts . I began using the system in December and it’s the end of February, my skin is clearing up and I haven’t had a breakout. Be patient with the process!

I've had cystic acne since I was a teenager. Have gone to dermatologists since then as well. I remember my dermatologist used to use dry ice on my flareups. As a teenager, I suffered from mild acne for a short period of time. Once I turned 36, I feel like I developed adult acne and bad!! I tried over the counter store products, nothing worked. I've been using proactiv for 18 year's. I started using it when I was 22 and I'm now 40. I haven't had to change how I use the products nor switch to any other skin care line. I have always had stubborn acne, which made me very insecure. After trying every skincare product imaginable in my early teens & early 20's, I finally was able to purchase Proactiv at 23. I got sick with cancer at the age of 21 and the chemo drugs interfered with the ingredients in proactiv, so I had to wait until I went into remission in order to use it. A family member bought it for me and brought it to the hospital. I soon found out I wasn't able to use it so I had to put it on pause. I was 22 at the time. Anyway, long story short, when I went into remission, I was finally able to buy it myself and he have been using it ever sense. I understand it's not for everyone but it's definitely been a skin saver for me. I don't wear foundation so I have to make sure my actual skin looks great. Most people cover their skin up with makeup and hate taking it off or being seen in public without it because of their terrible skin but I have clear and healthy looking skin overall. Even if I did wear foundation, my skin would still look great without it. I love the products and will continue to purchase.
