Great to have a shop with good range of women specific clothes, especially for biking as so many other shops still regard women as second class customers. Items arrive really promptly, usually the next day.

These waterproof trousers are a superb buy. They are light, soft and very waterproof - they survived three days in a very wet Snowdonia. They are also smart looking and can be worn as walking trousers, perhaps with legging underneath. Easy to put on over boots and the waist is large enough to fit over other trousers comfortable. I'm really pleased with my purchase.

Your selection of clothes is great and covers all my favourite activities: climbing, running, yoga, cycling, and walking. It can be tricky finding women's clothes which perform technically, but also fit well, and you are always the first place I look! The offers and sales are great too. My only constructive feedback is I would like to see some more icebreaker stuff, and maybe some more casual t-shirts as I find it hard to find flattering t-shirts for a pear-shaped size 8. I've bought a number of items from the gear for girls website in the last couple of years and have been very happy with the customer service - quick and efficient delivery and easy returns, a site you can trust. Too many girly pink/ lilac colours for my liking, but that criticism really applies to the manufacturers of women's sports and outdoor clothing in general, not necessarily the retailers. Why do the men get all the bright and exciting reds, oranges, yellows and greens?!

Recently bought some wanderer boots but unfortunately too small and no larger size stocked, BUT, would recommend this company for great speedy service on delivery and quality of goods. Would have liked a return label! Will certainly visit site again when wanting other walking/outdoor gear.

Excellent service and boots

I have bought previously from Gearforgirls while still living in the UK- it has always been a 5-star online shopping experience with great communication, quick delivery times and never any problems. Now that I live in Finland I have placed one order recently which also arrived very promptly and without problems. My only comment is about the shipping costs- 12.95 £ (that is about 15 Euros!) for a small parcel with standard delivery seems very steep. I still buy from other UK-based webshops and have never paid that much for shipping with a similar speed and service using Royal Mail. I am very happy with my purchase but I think the webshop could review the European shipping costs.
