Overall, I’d rate my experience with Garrett Wade as very good. Ordering was easy, shipping was quick, and everything arrived safely and well-packed. The product descriptions and photos are mostly accurate — though, as with the rosewood knife, the finish can be a bit less refined than it looks online. The only real drawback was the shipping cost, which felt a little high for the size of the order. Still, nothing’s really free anymore, and the quality of the tools makes it easier to accept. Garrett Wade continues to offer well-made, traditional pieces that are hard to find elsewhere, and I’ll likely order again.
