the perfect pan
I love my Always pan!! Nothing sticks!! It is super easy to clean. I haven’t had to soak it or scrub with sponge. Just let the pan cool and everything comes after with light soap and water - they do recommend soaking it with water if needed. But NEVER put cold water in the pan while hot. My only complaint is they don’t recommend any metal used on the pan but the steam basket that comes with the pan is metal…

Warn your loved ones not to purchase; the 'handle' is a hot iron.
Like many people, I was drawn in by the idea of a pan in a pretty colour that did it all. But it turned out quickly that the boxing and packaging the pan came in was more thoughtfully designed than the product itself. Besides being made of a rather cheap painted metal, and besides the fact that the non-slip coating is basically gone after only two months of use following every guideline about cooking on or below medium--there is a serious design flaw that has resulted in many people being seriously burned, myself included. The 'handle' is not a handle, since it cannot be used at any point while the pan is in use. It's made of the same metal as the rest of the pan, and therefore gets as hot as the bottom. They have not sealed it or used an insulating material. You can only use it as a handle when washing the pan, but it sits there while you're cooking, hot as coals, waiting for your attention to slip for for a second. Yes, they include a slip of paper that says the 'handle' gets hot. But for a pan that's meant to replace all other cookware that you plan to use every day, good luck training your muscles and nervous system not to touch something that looks like a handle but is functionally the same as a hot iron. After I'd burned my hand severely enough that I couldn't work for two days, I contacted Our Place about the fact that no link to review had been sent. The rep gave me the run around saying it wouldn't be sent until two months after purchase (it had been well over that by then) and then instead of allowing me to review, threw a refund at me I didn't ask for and continued to dismiss my request to leave honest feedback about this dangerous product. Having been injured by the product, I'm entitled to that refund. However, it was thrown at me to suppress a review, which I reiterated my request for. They proceeded to make up all kinds of excuses as to why they couldn't send me a link to review. We went back and forth for days, with them referring to their desig...
