I had metatarsisis from my cycling shoes and went to a specialist cycling podiatrist, who made me orthotics for over $600. They didn't address metatarsisis (no metatarsal support) and even made my feet hurt worse when I wore them. I went back and explained this and he made me a second pair, that still didn't address metatarsisis. I bought the Footlogics Meta for $35 thinking it would be more money wasted, but they actually work. With Birkenstocks during the day and Footlogics Meta (3 sets) in my shoes, I no longer have the pain that I had grown used to having all the time. It has also solved the plantar fasciitis that had developed, presumably from the metatarsal inflammation.
