Great line. Less wind knots

I bought this stuff to use as fly line backing, wanted something that wouldn't deteriorate as easily as dacron can, like the color black as it doesn't show dirt and wanted something that was somewhere between the diameter of 20 and 30 pound dacron, so I went with this stuff in 80 pound test. It's the perfect weave for fly line backing, in fact better than any of the companies products designed as fly line backing I have ever used. After installing a total of almost 1500 yards of the stuff on multiple reels yesterday, my fingers have zero black on them, no bleeding of color, nothing, it's just the right texture, not to stiff, not too soft and really just a great product for my purposes, made in the USA too! Will be my "go to" from here on out! - KB

Your 2 lb diameter Slingbraid seems great. Smooth and strong. Your 40G 2lb diameter is horrible. I bought a 1500 yd spool, and I think I'm going to throw the remaining 1300 yds away. Breaks way too easily and no abrasion resistance. Start over on that one.
