I used a Hennessy Expedition Zip a few times this summer, but my most recent experience in Cape Scott Provincial Park proved how great my hammock system was. It was extremely rainy, up to 30 mm per day, with strong winds. I used the expedition along with the large tarp and the super shelter. For the full four nights I stayed warm and dry. My tarp covered the hammock, and all my gear. It was easy to set up and take down the hammock and pack up our of the rain. The hammock was comfortable, and I stayed dry sleeping above the ground. The super shelter kept me warm and cozy. In the morning, hearing the rain and wind, I just wanted to stay in the hammock all warm and comfy.
