Beautiful yarn.

I ordered Wool Yarn in Manann because I wanted a deep indigo colour and selected Manann because of the photos. In reality, the colour is not as saturated as the photos suggest- it's more matte or muted to my eye. So while I love the brand, the texture of the wool in terms of how it feels, the speed of delivery I was disappointed in the colour. I have the same wool in Kingfisher and absolutely love that colour. Hence the mixed feelings!

Such fantastic Irish fibre for wet felting! I recently taught a Nunofelting workshop for August Craft Month and needed an Irish-raised wool that was easy to lay out and wet felted quickly for beginner students. Ériu's Blue-faced Leicester/Romney Roving is wonderful to work with! After gentle rolling, the wool happily migrated through the cotton fabric to create Nunofelt. The students were delighted to be able to work with the fibre and create beautiful felted bunting! Thank you so much!
