The padded belt is nice, fits well, carries weight well. The inner belt is actually sewn into the belt, but you can insert a different inner belt if you'd like. I have a 34in to 36in waist and the end of the molle section is about 9:30 and 2:30 o'clock. Belt has sewn in d rings for suspenders.
