Dr. Elsa is fantastic! The skin microbiome test is definitely worth doing if you have skin issues - both for the test results, and for her accessibility for helpful follow up.  I've struggled with acne rosacea for decades and tried many many treatments both topically and internally, through dermatologists and on my own, and nothing has really worked. I was extremely excited to find Dr. Jungman's skin microbiome testing service to find out whether anything unusual might be happening on that front. The whole testing experience was streamlined, pleasant, and easy, and it was very helpful to learn that my specific bacteria and fungi are not harmful and are in good proportions, which confirmed that trial and error treatments for specific bad ones through dermatologists were probably not going to be useful (the ones I tried hadn't been). I also used the skin treatment formulations on her website as guidance to try various individual oils on my skin which was very helpful (my skin's so sensitive that I thought trial and error one by one would be better to start); this was my first foray into using oils on my skin...they seemed to help moisturize my skin without further irritating it - which was a first and super beneficial in and of itself! (Before that it was hard to prevent dry itchy skin. Though unfortunately the oils didn't get rid of my rosacea, but these were not Dr. Elsa's oils, and I'm planning on trying hers in case they are better.) The most impressive thing about her company is that, being curious about potential internal causes of my rosacea and seeing her mention her personal issue with this in her materials, I emailed her, and she promptly responded, generously spoke with me, shared additional info about my test results and insights, offered a trial kit and for her team to get back to me with additional info on my overall microbiome, and shared a video with helpful food/gut recommendations. I'm really enjoying the products. I wish there was a little more guidance with how you recommend using the serums. The size of the serums are really small compared to the cleanser, which I don't love, but I guess a bigger size means a lot more money.
