This is an excellent product, and easy to install. We ordered a 4x4 mesh, 6-ft high fence, 300 linear feet. I've almost finished installing it - it took around 25-30 hours or so for one person. The 12.5 gauge wire they send out seems pretty sturdy, enough for my German Shepherd. Some suggestions: if you have rocky ground, you should purchase a drill-mounted auger and use that to drill pilot holes slightly thinner than the stakes otherwise you'll have a really hard time. I wouldn't use the hog ringer as it's fiddly and doesn't draw the two wires close together. Better to use zip ties (so you'll have to purchase more zip than they send out). Make absolutely sure your stakes are level because any errors here will be magnified with a 5 or 6 foot post. Overall, it's been great to install. We saved thousands of dollars by DIYing it!

We have a wooded yard and installed split rail where our neighbors could see the fence. In the woods we installed the top rail easy pet fence. All in all it is a good product. Once all the stakes are put in along the bottom everything is very secure. Below are some tips from our experience. 1. Get the auger to make holes for the sleeves. Clay is not your friend. 2. 8-10ft spacing of post is recommended but only enough posts/sleeves sent for 10ft spacing are sent. 3. Once the sleeves are installed and the posts inserted putting up the mesh goes quick. 4. While not recommended you can put the mesh up in the dark. 5. The mesh is heavy and awkward to move around. 6. Materials came quickly. 7. Consider more than one of the metal pile drivers. It wears out after a while and gets stuck in the sleeve. 8. Corners and ends were a bit confusing to start. The same posts and sleeves are used. It’s just adding a cross bar and some hooks and a cap on top. 9. The crossbar for ends and corners is not the same as a top rail or post. It’s a wider diameter than a top rail and longer than a post. 10. Hope this helps.

I went with the Cat fence kit, because I had an older- out door cat and a kitten that I did not want roaming the outdoors by himself.I installed it so the cats can enter the fenced in area from my screen porch and it goes all the way to the back of the garden where their cat nip is growing. It has only been a few days since the install, but the kitten is really enjoying the freedom. In the summer thinking of growing morning glories on the fence.This fence will all benefit my flower and vegetable garden from keeping the deer out!It took my brother and I two and half days to install. It was cold outside and the ground was hard. First we installed the door ,then we used a 69 inch San Angelo Bar for digging the post holes ,which worked Great.I wish the fence also came in green to blend into the landscape.
