Portable Pickleball Net Replacement Parts - Tube Section D This is the second one I have had to replace. Would be nice to just order the black plastic insert. Now I have 2 spare aluminum parts with broken inserts. The pickleball games must go on!

Purchased the 72” Dominator Hopp for our back yard to compliment and diversify our pickleball court and couldn’t be happier. After poring the footing my wife and I were able to install it ourselves. Raising and lowering the hoop is a breeze with the radial adjustment mechanism. With only 3 pieces it looks and performs exceptionally well. Not the cheapest option in the market but it’s worth every penny we paid.

The hoop seems to be working okay so far, and seems fairly well built, but I’m very disappointed at how badly Dominator botched the installation guides. The QR code on the crate guides me to the app “BILT”, which has outdated instructions, likely from a previous model. The written instructions are also not great, with some outdated steps, and one potentially very dangerous error, which is when it directs you to remove the safety bolt before securing the hand crank. This is very dangerous, and almost caused me to fall as I was installing the rim, as the pole suddenly started to raise up. We had to have somebody hang on the pole arm while someone else installed the crank handle. Also, the wording is somewhat nebulous in the written instructions, often using the term “hand tighten only”. You should clarify this with terms such as “tighten with fingers only” or “tighten firmly with wrench”. Even in the YouTube video the installer uses the term “hand tighten” when not using a tool. Ultimately, the best guide I found (after I already finished installation) was from a YouTube video for the 72” model from Feb 23, 2024. A link to this video should have been emailed to me and the QR code should be to this video, NOT to the BILT app.

Our family purchased a Dominator Hoop a couple months before but it hadn't shown up because of being on backorder. Once the hoops started coming in, we still didn't receive it. Turns out, from some of our check-in calls about using an anchor kit while we do our cement work, etc. we mislabeled ourselves as doing a local pickup instead of shipping. Oops. We called, disappointed, but the team was aggressive in making sure we felt heard and valued as customers. Specifically, Thomas worked out a deal to refund us the shipping, send us our hoops ASAP, and even make sure we were set up to start having the kids play right away as soon as it arrived. What started out as a poor experience, turned into one of the best ones we've had when it comes to dealing with 3rd party vendors for our new home. Dominator is known as being the king for in-ground hoops, but should be known as a leader in customer service too!
