Runs slightly larger than past jeans or pants purchases. I may order another pair one size down because I love this style so much. Very nice jeans. Dressier than normal jeans for sure.

I think Democracy has done a good job of offering petite sizes. My main issue is that sometimes I see styles I want that are not available in petites. It makes me a little sad when I receive a notification of a "new drop" and then realize it's not for me. Even the petites are often too long for me. I'm a pretty solid 27" inseam at this point in my life (some shrinkage has happened in my old age), and occasionally will go to 28" if that looks more appropriate for the style. But nearly all my Democracy jeans need to be hemmed.

Company doesn't offer free return shipping and the return process is clunky.
