We did not use the magnetic strips, rather just cut to fit the inside of the lights and places inside.

Octo light covers are impressive. The shipping is well thought out for minimal shipping waste. The magnets are pre-measured and adhere easily to the print. Once in place, you just pop it up over the light. The designs are fun and effective for decreased overhead light pollution.

The light covers are beautiful and we've had many comments on them in the clinic. It really reduced the light from the extremely bright LED lighting. Great purchase and the shipping was on point. These are so much better than the cloth ones that hang down with tiny magnets. Easy to install with their better magnets that line the entire picture. Thanks!

Great Company!

I love these covers, BUT the magnet strips that come with the kit are woefully inadequate to handle the added weight once they are in place. I wrestled with trying to get the magnets to hold to the metal ceiling grid. Just when I thought it would hold, the whole cover, magnets and all, would come crashing down! I finally had to go out and get a set of those tiny round super magnets (8 per cover) to augment the holding power. The strip magnets merely keep the panel from sagging between the super magnets. It works fine now, and despite that major flaw, they look great!
