I ordered two of the action kits for Pietta Navy and Army revolvers. I have bought them before and the parts were handy to have for repairs and projects. I thought, since I was down to one hand, it was time to order again. Pietta Navy and Army revolvers do not require a lot of fitting to work. However, I had a little issue with this order. The website said they were in stock, so I ordered two of the kits. When after two weeks I had no tracking number, I contacted Taylor’s. I was told they were out of stock and they were to be shipped when they got more in. Then, it took another couple of weeks before they came. It would have been nice to know up front when I was ordering that this was a back order only item. The other thing is, the hammers that are normally color case hardened are black in both kits.
