I was buying the other Dark Harbour brand. I didn’t realize it was American owned. I tried this Dark Harbour instead, to support Canadian. Also, there was a price advantage with the larger quantity so I could save some money. The only thing I’m having a bit of trouble with is that the other brand’s was much more tender. Kind of melts in your mouth. I like to eat it with apples. The new stuff is “fishier” and much tougher. I can still eat it but I don’t like it as much. I wonder if there’s something I can do to make it easier to chew at least

The dulse was excellent! I have eaten dulse from many sources over the years and the products sold by Dark Harbour have always been the best. Each leaf is moist and delicate, with no chewy stringy pieces. It smells like the Bay of Fundy every time I open the bag! The only disappointment was that the bag weighed 377 gram instead of 454 gram (1 lbs). Hopefully the next bag I buy will be closer to the advertised weight.

The experience was very good with online shop and delivery. The only issue I have is I think I bought the wrong type. I normally buy dark harbour Dulse in 56 g bags. The Dulse I'm use to basically melts in my mouth. The Dulse I bought in 1b bag is soft and is very different. It doesn't melt and is very chewy and strong tasting.

Wonderful - arrived promptly, was soft (rather than crispy), as advertised. Came in a sturdy zip-lock bag so it should stay fresh for a long time. A genuine taste of the Maritimes! Far superior to other brands of dulse.
