I placed an order for a Mother of Pearl Darbuka, and the next day one of the employees calls me to let me know it has a crack in the design and let me choose another one without interrupting the shipping time what so ever. The fact that they went out of there way to check the product prior to shipping speaks volumes about the company and the care they have for their customers. They were very patient with me and helped me with any questions I had for the next few days after that as well. I will definitely order from here again!

I have been looking to buy a darbuka for years but was not sure which type and where to buy. I finally found a great place to explore and buy. Darbuka Planet has lots of choices, very useful recommendations and a great online experience.

Great darbuka at affordable price! Thick, sturdy, heavy rustic aluminum shell. Premium head. Great sound and feel. What more could you ask for? Terrible bag though, will need to upgrade. Stitching will most likely give out when carrying, zipper gets stuck, no padding and even has cuts in it! I would not recommend using the bag unless you don't mind dropping your drum. Great drum, but will need a better bag!

My darbuka arrived in good condition. I ordered it during the holiday rush, and it arrived surprisingly quickly. The gold finish is nicer than I expected.

Easy and light weight to handle, sound with built in shakers are great. Now I'm looking for a pair of bongos.
