The ornament turned out to be absolutely beautiful. I was not only happy with the appearance but the work was perfect. I love that she sent me a video showing when she removed the hair from th envelope and I was able to see her applying the hair to ornament. I will definitely use her services again.

Custom Cross w/barb wire

Cherie at Dakota Bones was lovely to work with! She kept me informed of all the production steps for my custom fired piece using my late horse’s hair. The piece was very, very well protected in transit and the final product is everything I imagined and more! It’s a perfect tribute to an old friend and a work of art I’m proud to have displayed in my home.

I had this Small Quarter Horse Sculpture custom painted with my mare River's tail hair fired into the sculpture and it turned out so gorgeous! Every time I look at it I feel River beside me again. She was my heart horse and with me since she was a little over a year old. Losing her devastated me, there will never be another her. As stated in another review a video was sent to me taking the tail hair out of what I sent and burning it into the piece. The painting on the sculpture mirrored the photos I sent for reference. It is beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate to order again!

The vase turned out better than I can imagine, The horse we put down was very thin and sick, with sending in photos I asked Cherie if she could paint her with a fuller face and long mane like she used to be, and she exceeded expectations ❤️❤️ Thank you so much!!
