Replaced gasket after 3 years No problem, cooks rice very good

It provides good insulation, and the design and colors are great.

No major issues but I don't like how my complimentary replacement steel rice cooker pot (which was sent as a second package) had absolutely no wrapping in the package. There was no protection and it wasn't even in a box. It was in plastic.

It was the worst experience I've ever had. I contacted customer service because we just found out there is missing rubber gasket (seal) . I sent model# and picture of where the missing part located. After multiple email, they asked me to confirm the part they are about to ship is the correct one. (With payment of part +shipping) (I felt like they try to put me on response, if part doesn't fit) How can I know if it's the correct one by just looking at photo???? (doesn't even have dimentions) I asked them if I suppose to know if that's the right part. They said they will ship for now. That was 10/29 I still didn't get it. I also asked if they want me to pay first, no reply. We've used cuckoo all my life. This was thr worst experience. My next rice cooker will not be cuckoo.

We have a fancy version and have spent $$$ replacing the parts over the years and noticing a decline in productivity, so happy to see this pared-down cooker/steamer for such a fantastic price. You need to get the water ratio correct, and cannot keep the rice in warm mode overnight, but this cooker does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any frills. And the steamer works great! Definitely both the rice cooker and steamer work better as separate functions than together. Still would buy this over the fancy version again.

Cookoo inner pot replacement fits perfect and works great.

I bought this rice cooker 11 years ago, and it’s still going strong. Recently, I replaced the inner pot, which gave it an even longer life. The replacement part was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for the performance and durability this cooker continues to deliver.
