I bought the covers because my mask was slowly taking the color out of my skin. It was also uncomfortable to wear even when adjusting it. The covers keep the mask from irritating my skin. I had to cut the sides a bit to make it a bit more comfortable to wear. I've read that's something recommended for a better fit.

I was skeptical at first and thought the fabric liners were a joke. But I really had to get used to them. If making the hole bigger, start with very small cuts! If you cut too much off at first, there’s no going back. I cut very, very, little fabric off and it was perfect. I now love these liners! The pressure sore on my nose is finally healing too. I use a small Wisp mask and the small liners that I purchased are a perfect fit! No more annoying leaks AND my nose sore is healing. Win-win for me! They’re very soft and they even smell nice. It used to take me forever to fall asleep, and now I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.
