I have used a MIR CISS (Constant Ink Supply System) for the past 4 years. The system works well but requires some minor mods to printer depending on brand and model. Much, much cheaper than buying cartridges which are pretty much a rip-off and more convenient than refilling refillable cartridges (though these also work very well). I buy bulk ink in bottles to top up my CISS as needed (quite a while between refills due to tank capacity compared with cartridges). The ink from MIR is is very good quality and cheaper than most on eBay etc. The staff at MIR (thank you Mia) are expert and helpful with any technical advice needed.
