My husband and I each got a CB for our cross-country roadtrip, one for each car we drive. I'm new with these things but he grew up with them and after trying two different antennas we couldn't get a peep out of the CBs, not to each other or anyone else on the road.

So far good, need to talk to them about software for the smart charging system for Subaru because it will shut off randomly because of the way Subaru has the alternator setup. It doesn’t put a constant 13-14V out to the battery so when the detector sees he battery is below 12. 4 it shuts off.
