I love all Cape May soaps, but I recently tried the vanilla soap and found it to be a pleasure to use. It’s soothing and has a mild vanilla fragrance. While exfoliating, it also leaves the skin soft to the touch. It lathers up nicely. Will definitely buy again.

I ordered several new scents and loved them all. The Bergamot-Lavender is still my favorite, but the Vanilla is nice for people who prefer milder scents. I apply the soap directly to my body rather than using a cloth. I love the consistency.

I have tried most of the soap scents, and each one smelled great from start to finish, particularly the pine and holiday bars. They also really freshen up the whole room just sitting in a linen closest or medicine cabinet. They have a great lather, and make excellent locally sourced environmentally friendly gifts.
