I did extensive research before purchasing the Jane tethered mother of pearl watch as a Valentine’s Day gift, and unfortunately the experience fell short on multiple fronts. Shipping & Customer Service: I was guaranteed delivery before Valentine’s Day — it arrived a week late. I reached out to customer service, who offered to send a replacement in the meantime, but never followed through. I was left with just a card on the occasion, which was really disappointing after planning ahead. No discount or goodwill gesture was offered to make things right, which felt tone-deaf given the circumstances. The Watch Itself: Mixed feelings. My partner loves the mother of pearl face — it is genuinely pretty. But the band looks and feels noticeably cheap for the price point. I think you can find comparable or better quality at a lower price elsewhere. Bottom line: The watch has its charm but doesn’t justify the cost, and the customer service experience made it worse. Do your homework on alternatives before committing.
