Some seeds are great and some are not. Overall, most plants grow very well.

Flowers were sent a bit early for my zone 4 area. I was in a trip outside of the country. When I arrived home, approximately one week after the delivery, lilies bulbs were almost completely melted. Gladiolus were in top shape. I will try again to see if it is better next year and update.

Shipping has always been pretty fast. I don't usually have any problems with bulbs, but anything bare root seems to be a mixed bag. Getting a credit is pretty easy though, so as long as I end up with something that does grow it's ok.

Site was awesome but my flowers were not.

Shipping was brutal. Poor survival rate. 38. 5% died. Guarantee is useless to me as I will never knowingly deal with that shipping company again.

What I ordered came but a month before it could go into the ground. I put the three into pots until the ground wasn’t frozen. Two did not survive as we had a very late spring. I’m disappointed since I was looking foreward to the colour the plants would have given my yard.

My phlox did not grow which was disappointing. I would appreciate a credit so I can reorder for next season.

Terrible product. Not one plant came.

I just harvested Garlic from Breck's bulbs. It was the most disappointing garlic harvest I've ever had. The 'Elephant' garlic was a joke and most of the others were so small I'd normally have thrown them away. Same spot, lots of compost, good weather. . . everything was the same as other years.

This has happened a few times with Brecks - wrong plant. From last year, several irises, this year, the wrong dahlia, a plain white sent instead of Jowey Winnie. Yes, they refunded them, but more to the point for me is the time lost.

I’ve ordered from Breck’s a few times now, and overall I’d say it’s an okay experience. The positive is definitely the huge variety of plants available – they carry things I don’t always see in local nurseries, which makes it tempting to try new varieties. On the downside, it’s a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to how well the plants establish. For me, it’s been about 50/50 whether they really take off or don’t make it. If you like experimenting and don’t mind some losses, the selection is worth it, but if you’re looking for guaranteed results, it can be a gamble.

I bought over $400 dollars worth of plants and almost none of them grew. The root stocks were poor, did not produce any leaves, and left me dissapointed. I do not recommend getting root stock from Brecks. I followed all the instrucitons and care and yet got nothing. I was so excited for this summer and the period of growth with these plants yet they did not come and I was crushed. Will not be returning for anything other than spring bulbs.
