There are backpacks that have fancy organization pockets but lack durability. There are those that are durable but not ergonomic. And there are some that are quite decent but cost a fortune. Boundary Errant Backpack does not make any compromises. I'm super happy with my Boundary Errant Backpack. It has just enough organisation to keep things simple (I do not have any extensions, extra packs etc), solid durability and feels great both for everyday travel and also for more extreme getaways. Having used it pretty much daily over a year in quite rough conditions (snow, rain, sandy hot beaches etc) it has never failed me. Every time I found myself thinking that it could be even better if... I found a better way to use the bag or figured out that it already has the functionality (e.g. extra strap for fixing it on top of a carry-on luggage). The side pocket that fits a tripod or a 2 litre drink in it like it's not a big deal - just wow. This backpack is the first product ever motivating me to find the online place to give my praising review. Thanks a lot for a fantastic job, Boundary!

I received my errant pack in the mail today with a few of the modular inserts, I must say this bag is absolutely incredible, everything I could have imagined times 10!!!!! I keep finding amazing hidden pockets. Everything is top quality. I will absolutely be adding more accessories to my bag and getting them for a few people for gifts. What an awesome daily bag, or adventure bag. 10 out of 10

I have had the Prima System for some months now and I use it daily for my work. First things first. My order took a very long time to arrive due to having some extra stuff in it. The company wanted to send me everything together, but the towels for example were not available for a very long time after I ordered them, with the expected date being very long overdued. Despite that, the customer service were really helpful when I contacted them about waiting my order dor a long time, and send me the items separately when they were available, so overall I didn't mind the waiting (although keep that in mind if you are in a hurry and live in Europe). Now regarding the bag, the backpack is kind of heavy, but when you put it on your back you don't really feel that weight. Having a laptop in the bag and some other stuff inside it, I had the backpack on my back for about 2-3 hours and I didn't feel exhausted or anything. So don't let the heaviness of the bag itself fool you. I had the backpack in rain and while the outside was wet, inside everything was dry. The pockets and the overall compartments give you plenty of options for you to pack a lot of things. One thing that could be better is the fact that when you attach the camera bag inside the backpack you should put something (like a jacket or something similar) at the bottom of the backpack, otherwise the weight of the camera pulls your backpack a little towards the center. The little hidden pocket where the water bottle pocket is, is an excellent place for me to keep my wallet, but when you have the bottle locket full, it gets kind of difficult to pull out the wallet (although they don't advertise it as a wallet pocket, sk it's ok). I would have liked to review the system after I had taken a full trip with it (where I usually carry a backpack ror about 10-12 hours a day and I end up with my back hurting amd mh shoulders sore), but coronavirus has not made it possible yet. I ordered my Prima System bag on Sunday March 8th and was able to pick it up here in Calgary from the FEDEX delivery location on Friday March 13th 2020. This, to me is extremely fast from the perspective of both order fulfillment and delivery. (I like FEDEX!) In terms or ordering my bag, I was able to get some help from Lauderic (Customer rep) and he was able to guide me through email as to what was available currently. They were out of some of the colours and the XPAC version of the bag, but they had the Stone grey version of the Prima bag available for immediate shipment. As such, I ordered this version. In the end, I really like this colour, more than I thought I would. Also worth mentioning is Linsey (another support person at Boundary Supply) also got back to me very quickly about when my order would be shipped and order status etc. All in all, I was very satisfied with the customer service. I expected a longer wait than 4 days to receive my bag so I was extremely impressed with the delivery time, especially given that I live in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and sometimes ordering across the border can be dicey with customs clearing etc. But credit to FEDEX with moving it from Boundary supply to here in Canada in the quickest way possible. The bag itself is well constructed with high quality materials. The fabrics and hardware are all first class. I just received the bag yesterday, so I have not used it yet but I believe it ought to be a very useful tool for me. I may add to this review once I have some further time with the product. Its worth mentioning that there are plenty of reviews on this bag on the internet and I think if you are looking for good review information, those reviews (like on PackHacker, or Carryology etc.) offer far more insightful perspectives than what i can offer. Super cool features and there's a lot of pockets that will make your stuffs very organize. No need to worry bout back pain because of its breathable back pad, padded handles and soft harness. The zip locks, magnetic locks and chest traps makes the bag more secure. It also comes with a wet/dry and laptop/ipad storage.

I intend to make this a complete and thorough review of the Errant Backpack. However, if you are short on time and you're unsure on whether you should purchase the bag, I'd say get it. You wont regret it. For the complete review. Before I go into the review, id like to give some information on how I use the bag. The Errant backpack is my EDC. I am a university student and use the bag for my laptop, books, writing pad, journal, lunch and other bits and bobs. I've broken this down into 5 separate categories. Namely: 1) Materials used 2) Comfort 3) Space and ergonomics 4) Customer service 5) The not so positive 1) The materials which were used in the bag were some of the best which I have seen used in a bag. I bought the standard Errant backpack thinking that it would be enough against the rain and that the x-pac maybe a bit overkill for me. I'm from the UK and recently we have had a lot of rain and storms and the bag kept my laptops, books paper everything safe and dry. Water just runs off the bag and I never worry about water seeping in through the zips or rain finding its way in. There is a toughness to the bag without the bag being too in your face. It’s elegant but not compromised in any way. The laptop casing is lined with a soft material, so anyone with an aluminium cased laptop need not worry about scratches. The mesh is surprisingly strong when compared to other products that I have had. I've stored my laptop charger in the mesh, and it hasn't torn and has kept everything tight and secure. To conclude, the materials are of the best quality and I haven’t had any issues with it what so ever. 2) I was reading reviews of this bag and watching videos before I purchased the bag. There were a few people who where unsure with regards to the straps being so thick and whether they would break in over time. Honestly, I’ve had no problems at all with them. I've received my Errant pack a few days ago and have had the pleasure of trying all of it's features, and I"m released and delighted with how good this bag is. It's just the right size for me, despite all the comments on the Internet about it being a bit small. I carry two laptops and a large tablet, a Peak Design tech pouch, Bose headphones, and a lunch in the bag without issue. It would fit another jacket and other items also. The quality, especially when comparing other bags, is outstanding. The materials feel luxurious and extremely well sewn, the look is great, and I even like the flap and the attachment "nipples" that people like to complain about. If I had a magic want I'd make it a tiny bit deeper and leave the height the same. I'd made the straps just a little wider, and I'd sell it with the assessor purchase already included, but all those are really very specific and not at all interfering with my enjoyment of this bag. I'm a very picky bag purchaser with a desire to have a really good looking, functional and very well built bag and this has ticked all the right boxes. Well done,.

Bought the Errant back pack and think its the best back pack Ive owned, Been using it now for a month and very pleased with my purchase. I bought the additional cooler bag insert and its great, I used to carry a backpack and insulated cooler pouch, which was bulky.... now I have the cool pack inside the bottom of the Errant and its just brilliant. Just wished I had bought more of the accessories at the same time. I have the tan version and I love the colour, Lots of pockets and hide holes so lots of places to store and hide things. Boundry have had a few supply chain issues with the launch... but I am happy with the product I have received, I am going to purchase some more accessories once they are back in stock. As the saying goes.... Good things come to those who wait...

Had this bag for about 3 week now. Used it during my travel to Hawaii. I currently use it for work, hikes, and everyday carry (EDC). When I go to work; I use the office folder for every work related task. Its minimal enough for the amount of paperwork I use day to day. During my last hike; it was rainy and muddy. Everything inside was completely dry. When I say rainy, it's that hawaii weather where rain comes in and out every other hour. Took out the verge case and the waist bag and all my friends were amazed. For my everyday tasks; I carry my macbook, extra clothes, and essentials depending on what I'm doing for the day. So who is this for? Literally everyone. It's all about the small things that make this an amazing bag. It truly is a universal backpack.

Love it. Practical. Sturdy and v good materials. Just very difficult to reach pockets and i have to remove the bag from my back so i can access the top flap. Otherwise a great bag.

I like that its magnetic and It sticks to the section of my prima pack so you do have to go digging looking for your keys

I really appreciate that the case can be expanded and that it has a separate compartment for wet clothes. It fits perfectly in my Errant, and I can use it with other bags too. The quality is exceptional. Keep it up Boundary!
