Basically, I was looking for something reliable to glide around with my furry friend and occasionally fish. We recently added two BOTE HD Gatorshell paddle boards to our adventures, and the entire experience—from ordering to first paddle—has been fantastic. First, we have to mention the shipping and service. Living in rural North Carolina, big deliveries can be a challenge. Our driveway can’t handle a semi-truck, but the delivery driver was incredible—he met us in town so we could pick up the board without any issues. That kind of extra effort made the process smooth and stress-free, and we really appreciated the great communication and service. As for the boards themselves—outstanding quality. The construction is solid and durable, yet surprisingly lightweight, making them easy to carry and handle. The graphics are gorgeous: the Classic Mangrove has a natural, timeless look that blends beautifully with the outdoors, while the Native Bombardier is bold and adventurous. Having both designs side by side really shows how much thought BOTE puts into their style. The included carbon fiber paddles are a huge bonus. They’re feather-light, strong, and made our first paddle on Lake Santeetlah a joy. The boards felt stable, responsive, and smooth on the water, giving us confidence as we explored one of North Carolina’s most scenic lakes. From shipping to service to performance, BOTE exceeded our expectations. These paddle boards are everything we hoped for and more—we know they’ll be with us for years of adventures.
