Our new Airex Diana 200
Our new Airex Diana 200 relaces an Airex Atlas mat that we purchased in 2007. that one was used for our at home floor exercise routines 5-7 days/week (2 people) and held up remarkably well. In the past year we notices that the side edges of the Atlas mat were looking somewhat worn, with tiny pieces of the green foam falling off onto the adjacent floor. That’s when we decided to upgrade to the new Airex Diane 200 mat. The foam on the new mat feels somewhat denser, and the new surface (like a flexible and perforated vinyl-like coating on the top of the foam) will likely extend the life of the mat substantially. It’s got a different feel than the old Atlas mat, but not in a bad way. I did notice that our Diana mat is a bit smaller than the stated dimension: it measures 77. 5” in length, not 79”. Its width is 48” on one end, and 47. 5” on the other, versus the stated 49” width. Not a big deal for a home environment, even when my wife and I are using the mat at the same time (which we typically are). Overall, we’re happy with the upgrade!
