I was first introduced to the founder of ROEX, Inc., now a BIN Science Company, in 1995, when I was a host on a shopping channel in San Diego. Rod Burreson, the founder of ROEX, as a guest on my show, told me about his story of having truly awful allergies, in his youth. He tried EVERYTHING and those of you in the same position, know just what everything means. It’s a long and arduous process to know what’s causing you to react and how to try and stop that reaction to whatever is or combo of things that are bothering your system. While in Europe, as an adult, he came across what the Country of Finland had been using for decades to help treat various allergies. They did this, as they told him, by giving the body the tools to help itself. The beginnings of knowing and using antioxidants was born. Finland had found true success they said by a very pure form of Grapeseed Extract. Rod explained it to me by saying that there (at that time) were two popular forms of antioxidants being used Procyanidin and Pycnogenol. The Procyanidin came from the Grapeseed Extract and Pycnogenol came from Pine trees. Both were very powerful antioxidants, helping to increase the absorption of Vitamin C and in turn, helping to increase the body’s Collagen production, by virtue of the increased Vitamin C in your body. Do some research on how this happens, as it’s fascinating how one element helps another and so on, while YOU give your body to tools to do the best it can to help itself. That was really the message that Rod wanted us to get out to as many people as possible—giving your body the tools to do its best to help you be as healthy as you can. Then, when he found that Finland had relied so heavily on the Grapeseed Extract for helping to treat allergies, he HAD to find out more and, in the process, help others, as well.
