The Besame Cosmetics team is truly excellent, very kind, supportive, and helpful--especially if a purchase didn't quite go as hoped. In the early days, Gabriela herself would respond to my request for recommendations. I prefer to spend my beauty budget at smaller companies whose quality products are made in the USA, and I enjoy watching all of the Besame videos. While I have a challenging time finding shades that suit me in the current Besame Cosmetics catalog, I am probably not your ideal customer, as I tend to wear makeup that flies under the radar. Also, my eyes are my dominant feature, not my lips. That said, the quality, design, and exquisite attention to detail are outstanding. And it is truly wonderful to have such beautiful, period-accurate products available in the marketplace. The only other brand that comes close to a retro sentiment is Lisa Eldridge, but Besame is much more unique.

I can’t believe how beautiful this lipstick is! I ordered it along with Vicyory Red in honor of women’s day and fighting fascism. Both are gorgeous, but the Cherry Red is perfect for an everyday red for my medium sallow salon tone. OT is a little darker and more blue toned without being purpley. The formulation is divine- somewhere between creamy and matte. I will definitely order again! Please keep this stocked! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
