Happy with my purchase. Locking banana plugs work great with my Dali Rubikore 2 bookshelf speakers. No audible difference between them and the AudioQuest Rocket 44 cables.

Looks great, feels sturdy, no jitter, and reasonably priced. Using to connect my SMSL PL150 to DAC3L.

Not my first benchmark product but probably my last. I’m not saying it’s bad in anyway I just don’t think I will ever find a product that will beat the trueness of sound. Last month I treated myself to a full Benchmark set up, a new Dac 3 L and an ABH 2. And with the cable deal a set of 25 foot speaker cables. My intention was to use it with a pair of ls3/5a and I will say the authority and grip was something I had never heard on the little Falcon Acoustics. The next speaker to bring in to play was a pair of retro vintage WE 755a, I know tubes are gospel, 300B running single ended. But this full Benchmark system taught me a thing or two about distortion, I don’t like it anymore. This new dac, amplifier combo has eliminated it. It is so clean and quiet, no hum, no strange pops. Great sound stage, maybe not the widest on all recording, but it’s clear it’s the recording not the set up. It’s even fooling my cats. Tapping foots in recordings are making them look to the area below the speaker, weird. My purchase started out to just say thank you to a great company I just wanted to support in these hard times. Turned out to be an eye and ear opener that’s making my foot tap and a big smile on my face.

Outstanding DAC to upgrade your system.

I expected the HPA4 headphone preamplifier to be good, but I wasn’t prepared for just how incredible it would be. I honestly went back and forth on buying it because of the price, but it has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Paired with the AUDEZE LCD-5s, the performance is simply amazing. I wholeheartedly endorse the HPA4!

It took a while to get up and running however with Rory’s expertise, all is well. I appreciate that he took the time to check the compatibility between my speakers, preamplifier and your amplifiers. We spent a good amount of time on the phone doing this.

Could not be happier with my Benchmark HPA4. I have been looking for the right magic to unlock the potential of my Audeze LCD-4’s. The amount of information I am picking up is downright transcendent. This is one of those “ In Awe” audio moments that stay with you forever. And a printed owners manual . Be still my beating heart. And yet , still a hand-crafted artisanal feel. Took me back to receiving my first David Hafler audio components in the way back. Thank you for an all-around wonderful experience.

I am very happy with my purchase. I spoke with John at his talk at the capital audio fast last November and was impressed with the reduced distortion figures using speak on connections versus spade lugs. You guys make outstanding professional grade products at a not astronomical price. I’ve been very pleased with all of my purchases, including the AHB2 amplifier, LA four preamp and DAC3HGC. Curiously, I was looking at prices of other speaker cables and saw that transparent audio was offering a pair for $84,000 with spade lug terminations. I could have purchased 350 pair of benchmark cables for that price.

Great cables--transparent and detailed sound, high quality construction and XLR plugs, no audiophile hype or nonsense. Nothing added or taken away--just accurate sound. Highly recommended.
