I ordered one point (454g) of Tahitian vanilla beans. The net weight of the beans was 427g, 27g short. The gross weight including the bag was only 438g! I reached out a week ago and received an auto reply from their system at zendesk. But no other contact despite my asking. If this company shorts every customer 5% they should be ashamed. If this is a one-off on this product they should make it right. I paid for $15 worth of product I did not receive, and so far, the company doesn’t seem to care. The beans are great. But more expensive in the long run that it would seem.

Grade B Madagascar Vanilla Beans: They were so dry that some of them were splitting. And though I do not believe that they did, some of them looked like someone had already split them to make extract. There are too many places to buy GOOD vanilla beans, keep looking. . .

I’m a gourmet baker and purchased these for my Vanilla Bean artisanal cake. It gave the cake a more depth and robust flavor! Once the seeds were removed,I threw the pod in my sugar… more flavor!! Would highly recommend!!
