This is our 3rd Axe bat, but first big barrel bat. My son loves it and it was a steal with the discount we got!

I bought the Axe bat for my 8 year old daughter for softball. She loved the bat from the first swing. The ball jumps off the bat and has given her more confidence to swing harder. Since the switch to the Axe bat I have seen big improvements in my daughters swing and hitting.

I love the way the bat feels in my hand. The handle just feels better than other bats, but my old bat I still hit further with. I want the axe bat to be my favorite but the ball just doesn't sail as far.

This bat was purchased for our high school aged son. We'd read about the science behind the AXE bat and decided to give one a try. We chose the Element as a good solid all around bat. It's end weighted which is similar to his current bat and felt it would be a good match. What we found was the Element is end weighted a lot more than his current LS 715. A lot! This is a muscular kid so I thought he'd get used to it but never did despite some extra reps in the cage. Seems the extra end weighting was just enough to take him out of his comfort zone. We offered to try the next step up to the Hyperwhip Fusion or the Avenge but he had no interest and wanted to just keep his LS. He never really felt the axe shaped handle helped either which surprised me again as he usually loves trying new concepts. For whatever reason though he just didn't gel with this bat so we used the 30 day no-hassle return so as not to have a $200 bat just sitting unused.

What little we have got to use the bat he is liked it but the first one broke after two weeks we thought it was scratched but it was broke the whole time I sent it back they sent a new bat but when I got it it was delayed for some reason for about another week but they were kind enough to send us a bat bag so basically we've not got to use the bat I was also disappointed that when I got the new bat the warranty reverts back to when I bought the first one the warranty should be extended from when I got the replacement because basically he hasn't really got to use the bat yet that season ended and summer season is just beginning

This bat didn't do anything for my daughters swing I use your bat against a DeMarini bat and the ball was flying off her bat with DeMarini The axe bat it was just almost like a Deadning hit lots of noise but no power in the end where not happy with the bat ..

it was great my granddaughter loved it a lot...but unfortionly she didn't get to enjoy to finish with it because it got stolen from her. but the bat was awesome ,she was hitting ferther then before..thanks

My husband loves this bat. Worth every penny

Bought the 27/17 for my 7 yr old. It's a bit too heavy wish you made a 15 or 16 oz. I'll have to wait til next year for an accurate review.

Bat seems dead, no pop in it. Will not buy another.

I couldn't resist and took a few hacks with it. Then I took a few more...and a few more...and a few more. Next thing you know, I'm bugging him to go to the cages so I can swing HIS bat and to the field so I can hit fungos to him with MY new Axe Fungo. I wish these things were around a million years ago when I was playing ball with my caveman club...

Love the bat, feel and look. Great fungo action. But the 'axe' part of the bat is on the lower hand, the upper hand is griping a 'round' portion of the bat. When i hit fungo, i toss with my left or bottom hand, so when i grab the bat after the toss, the bat is not always in the correct position for the 'axe' grip. I may be able to wrap some tape for the upper hand to make the grip alignment consistent.

What an awesome bat!! Not only is it well balanced. I love the fact that this bat has the lizard skin applied to the bat handle for the most ultimate comfort. The design is great and although I have not used it in the cage, I am pretty sure I am going to be hitting some shots. It is awesome to see that Mookie Betts is involved with this great company and stamped his name on it. Great job Axe Bat! I also purchased the teeball bat for my son, and all of his teeball mates love using his bat. You can also find it on the site as well. This is not a mookie betts model however.

My son loves his new bat, this is his second Axe bat and he is hitting with more confidence this season. The down side is...he is now being intentionally walked by the teams we have played before. We are sure to buy again when he moves up to high school....

So far the bat has been great. My son has only been able to use it in 1 tournament so far but has many more tournaments this summer and fall.

I love this bat. I don't get the pain in my pinky finger anymore like I used to get with knob of other bats. And I don't get blisters either. The grip is so comfortable. Even after hundreds of swings in the cage.

I think it's ok. Not sure if I will buy another due to a price

My son is 10 and Broke his MB50 in thefirst game of the season. Hit a hard foul ball off the end of the bat. This is where the warranty comes in handy. I believe in giving 2nd chances. We'll give Axe Bat 1 more try, if it breaks again we're out. On a side note,they should really make a few more bats that land in the price range of 130-210.
