Items like this are the critical ones that nobody (including your parents) ever told you about. It isn't shiny, sexy or anodized red metal. It doesn't have WiFi. I needed this for my newtonian astrograph with the image train that throws off balance not only in weight in RA but in Dec since the mirror isn't heavy enough to balance the camera & filter wheel. I needed another 5lbs to add to the 2. 5lbs this provides but it was just the fix I needed for my 6 inch newtonian astrograph using a EQ6R mount.

There isn’t a more helpful or honest place to buy your equipment from. They have treated me fairly and with integrity.

Beautiful views so far from this binocular. Impressed with the fit and finish and the focus wheel is smooth. DIopter adjusts with just the right amount of tension. Wide field of view that I was looking for and clear to the edges of the view. Astronomics communicated well with me regarding some questions I had prior to purchase and shipped quickly with excellent communication around that. Great job and impressed!
