Top Shelf knife at good price!!

Nice heft and silky smooth handle. Substantial finger grooves make it comfortable to hold with a thumb on the blade for more control. Full tang Damascus blade is attractive and sharp out of the box. This is a gift so I was hoping for a nicer box to present it. Knife arrived in a plastic bag as the blade is oiled, in the leather holder in a thin branded cardboard box that was worn from shipping in the bubble wrap envelope. Promptly shipped with updates and on-time delivery.

It's a beautiful knife. All the materials are exceptionally crafted. There were only a few things I corrected. It wasn't sharpened. Wouldn't cut anything. I have a kit so I fixed that. Also, the edges of the steel inside the handle were pretty squared off with sharp edges. I have tools so I fixed it. I love this knife. It works great. Opens and closes with little effort. And like I said, it's really pretty to look at.

After having issues initially purchasing online with my credit card and having the boxing week discount applied , I talked to a gentleman on the phone who helped get everything sorted. The knife arrived very quickly and looks great (knife and sheath) and feels great , nice heft to it. It came sharp and I love the Damascus pattern. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 starts is the fitment of the handle was not as tight as maybe a more expensive knife , it kind of makes a small click if I put a bit of pressure a certain way towards the blade end of the handle, nothing I'm too concerned about , as I know it's probably a challenge with raw wood materials to make a great fitting on the tang, just something I notice. I didn't bother contacting the seller on this point ,as I like the knife and plan on keeping it and hopefully after use and time it some how wears or settles , however if the seller sees this and wants to address it , I wouldn't be against it and would adjust my rating score accordingly.
