I installed epoxy primer as a base coat and used polyaspartic for my top coat. Before I could even begin I used liquid only epoxy mortar. I had some small broken areas along with one substantial broken area that was about 1. 5" deep by 4 or 5" around. I already had paver sand and assumed it would work as good as play sand. It DOES NOT! Stick to play sand. Because of the sand grain being so large. I was unable to make each layer as thin as recommended but it still worked fine. However, It took a lot longer to cure. But once cured, it was strong. I did my 2 car garage by myself. I ran into some issues due to the roller frame I purchased from Lowe's. Stick with the one Armorpoxy sells. Lost a lot of working time and ended up using a small 8" roller for over half the last coat and it was already setting up so my floor is not super smooth. There are spike marks and thin areas due to the roller issues. I ran out of time. My floor before was impossible to sweep and get it clean. It had a really rough finish. Armorpoxy polyaspartic completely changed my floor and I can keep it clean for the first time ever. Glad I did this and wish I had done it a long time ago. Next summer I'll lightly sand it and lay down a new top coat with their roller frame.

Moved clear coat with ease.

I applied Surface Bond HD Color Asphalt and Concrete Coating to my asphalt floor (yes asphalt, not concrete) in my garage to improve the appearance and better control moisture. A couple of things I found is it took 4 coats on asphalt vs. 2 coats on the concrete curbs. As the product instructions state cooler temperatures increase drying times (especially with asphalt since there is less absorption). The transformation was quite striking and came out better than I anticipated. The finish seems strong and durable. Very pleased with the product.

Very good product, but have a respirator ready, and make sure anyone in the house is cleared out. It has an unbearable smell, and im a flooring installer. Im around weird glues and solvents all the time, this stuff is different. You cant do it with anyone in the house. Keep in mind I did it in the dead of winter so I couldn't open the doors up to the outside. But it fixed my problem. I didnt have enough clear coat epoxy and I had little nibs of Mica poking up everywhere. I sanded the entire floor, cleaned it with a vacuum and lint free alcohol wipes. Then I applied the urethane. It all went smooth and the urethane has a pretty long working time so it was all pretty easy to put down. Just make sure you mix up that wear additive really well and I only used about a third of it because I didn't want it to affect the glossiness.

Excellent product, easy to apply, looks terrific and wears like iron. Applied the base coat (with flakes) in about 4 hours and the clear top coat in about 2 hours. Job on a pallet comes with everything you need to do the job. Highly recommended for new garage floors to keep them beautiful and easy to keep clean.
