The softness of these products is heavenly, the balaclava acts as a base layer neck warmer that can be pulled over the head and face when it gets colder. Out in the Brecon Becons tomorrow to test further. Would definitely consider this company over icebreaker for their customer service alone.

At a time when so many companies are slow to respond due to corona virus issues, Armadillo were very quick to deliver my order. Three days after I made the order I had it in my hand. A very lightweight package couldn't possibly have two beanies and a pair of socks within. It did! Superb lightweight clothing, well made and very warm. I can't recommend enough.

Prompt delivery, correct item, so a good start. The long neck tube looks well made. I will have to await a cold winter's day on the mountains before I am able to comment on its performance. However, if it is of the same standard of other Armadillo products, I can be assured that this will perform well.

Fit is great, I bought a S size (1,75m ; 68kg). I like the cut and the feeling of it. Haven't had the chance to wear it yet, but I'm going out soon on a hike. Hope the quality will stand up to the look and feel.

The service provided was personal, efficient and fast. With regard to my order any required clarifications were sought quickly and the order was received faster than i expected. My Kojak beanie fits and feels great with a really small pack size it will become a regular feature in my bergen and on my head. The only improvement i would recommend is that a stock reminder for customers is included on the website so that customers can be notified when there is stock of items if they were previously not available.

So I took a gamble and ordered a bunch of socks during a sale on the Armadillo website. I bought both the Stamina, and the Heavy (which I haven't tried on yet). Hadn't any experience with their socks before, but I own a falcon and a couple of condor T-shirts, which are both some of my favorite pieces of clothing for outdoor activities. I must admit the 'Staminas' are a bit bulky for my feet, but again I have very difficult feet in regards to sizing - I'll probably just add a liner and the fit should be perfect. The socks are absolutely exquisite in regards to comfort, and you never really feel sticky, even if the rest of your body is sweating. In contrast, during idle time in the cool spring weather, the socks insulate so well due to wool that I haven't tried having cold feet while wearing them.
