Although these snow pants are rated for negative temperatures, I found them less suitable for the low teens temperatures we had in northern Indiana than the LL Bean fleece-lined jeans I've been wearing for at least a decade. I'm keeping them because they will be a better match for the snow that's bound to come. Fit is a little snug, but I think a size up would have been too loose.
