I thought my divorce would be amicable. I thought it would be quick. But after 2 years of frustration and getting no-where due to subpar representation from other attorneys, a friend referred me to Antonyan Miranda. Enter Andrew Rosenberry - a marvelous super-human who is the perfect combination of attorney, therapist, financial advisor, big brother, and personal dragon (à la Khaleesi) - the first attorney who could finally explain family law to me in terms that made sense……not because we think alike, we do not - not because he said what I wanted to hear, he definitely did not. It was because he actually cared and didn’t blow smoke. He told me the real risks I was facing, combined with the real cost, and that no one is ever happy at the end. And he kept saying it. Over. And over. And over. Quietly fighting battles that I now see were more important than my emotional blinders allowed me to understand at the time. But when I finally called uncle, it was like the angels from Street Fighter whispered “finish him” from the heavens……and he did. Did I get everything I thought I would get? Not even close. Was my ex happy (although his attorney was good)…. I seriously doubt it, but I never have to talk to him again (imagine the joy!). It is such a relief after the grief I have gone through. Yes, he was more money than I had anticipated, but it was worth every dime spent!

My attorney, Rejeanne, was previously with another firm when she switched over to AM in the middle of my case. I couldn't be happier with how seamless the transition was between firms, how focused she was able to be on my case, and how amazingly dedicated the team at AM was in supporting Rejeanne and making sure my case was being properly handled. The attention to detail that the AM team provided was absolutely exceptional! The trial brief that was put together cited important case law that I knew would be extremely relevant to the outcome of my case. While I received a judgment in my favor, I'd still leave Rejeanne and her team a glowing review even if the judgement had been in the other party's favor because they really took the time to look through all my documentation while listening to me in order to prepare my arguments in the best possible way. Everyone's attention to detail and willingness to hear me out and communicate with me was really important to me. My ONLY feedback as that I felt the billing was much more transparent at Rejeanne's previous firm so it was easier for me to understand the billing process on a regular basis. AM does not have an online portal (that I am aware of yet anyway) for uploading evidence and documentation. If they could integrate some of that software for clients or partner with a company like Custody Xchange to include that for their clients and attorneys to manage together, that would help everyone. Again, the transition is new so maybe they already have something like that that I just haven't needed to use yet. I worked with Rejeanne Eyre of Antonyan Miranda on my custody case and dissolution action over multiple years. Thanks to her quick action at the beginning of the case, I was able to permanently leave California. After the courts did not take repeated substance abuse and domestic violence seriously (which repeatedly put our child at risk), Rejeanne Eyre successfully obtained Ex Parte orders granting me full legal and physical custody with limited and then no contact with the other parent. Ms. Eyre was then able to present the necessary evidence to completely transfer the entire case to my home state after several years of litigation and financial abuse by the other party. As a result, my child has been able to heal without exposure to the substance abuse, and domestic violence perpetrated by the other party. I am truly gratefu!!!!!
